NEWPORT VINTAGE DANCE WEEK
PLANS ARE UNDERWAY!
August 1 to 6, 2010

Travel back in time to the summer playground of the Gilded Age. Perfect your dancing skills with classes taught by leading experts on vintage dance. Experience the breathtaking opulence of America’s finest ballrooms as you dance in Newport’s famous mansions. Let yourself be immersed in a bygone era as you sip tea by the shore.

We are planning a new and exciting Dance Week for this year, our second year on the campus of Roger Williams University in charming Bristol, RI (just 5 minutes from Portsmouth, approx.30 minutes from Newport). The schedule for 2010 is nearly complete, so please check back to this website frequently for the latest updates. Here are some of the details available for 2010. We hope you are as excited as we are in looking forward to another year amidst the splendours of Newport.

Newport 2010 will begin on Sunday, August 1. There will be an optional early arrival on Saturday, July 31. Please note that these are earlier days of the week than in previous years. The dance week will run through Friday morning August 6.
